Somehow

My HP seems a tad more sturdy and warrior-like than my mac. I don’t know. This HP of mine has been given some hard knocks, but still it never once screwed up on me, or left me stranded when i’m really in the pithole of project work or exams. I’ve only gotten the mac for a week or so, and the photobooth or Isight function has already been playing some tricks on me. But anyhow, other than that, i just hope it can last me throughout the uni education. Not asking for too much am i?

Today, i was very very excited about the Tim Sum, and woooots my craving has been satisfied! But the company was awesomer. Thanks char, for walking with me here there and everywhere, while i purchase the randomness of stuff for my house.

Last load of laundry done today. Packing will commence tmrrrrrrrr i guess.

Mac Accessories for myself (keyboard protector, cover & mouse)
Pair of shoes

And a few more errands to run. sigh.

Hopefully my parents will be fully recovered before i leave. And i dont catch any viruses from them. First my mum was pretty ill, now it seems my dad caught the fever bug from her.

5 more fricking days

This is truly exasperating. What was supposed to be a simple hair trim became somewhat short of a disaster. And now, im stuck with it. ARGH. Just a few days before aust la. Dammit i knew i should have trimmed earlier. Although my head feels much lighter now, and i quite like the length of my hair, which is about 3-4 inches shorter, there is just something odd with the cut. Now i gotta live with it for at least 2-3 months, till my hair hopefully grows back. And i just might have to blow dry my hair from time to time. :(:(

In moments like these, i wish i could CTRL-Z, and everything would revert back to before.

SIGH. (growwwww hair growww)

Tim sum later on with char at Victor’s, and then mailing in the mac rebate. (Followed by some last min shopping)

Ironing, semi packing and meeting Sfee tmr at SimLim.

Hello Mac

I’m trying to delay the packing and the requesting of free transfer from my school, cos then everything will just seem so FINAL.

My previous company, TAXI has offered to let me cover some big design events in Melb, but i’m really not sure if i have the time or if i want to. I’m tempted to get the media pass and go for some of the design events though, cos i checked it and some is really super interesting. There are 2 events, the State of Design 2008 (http://www.stateofdesign.com.au/Home) and Melbourne Int’l Design Festival (http://www.nationaldesigncentre.com/), both happening in the month of July. But i’ll be super sians to write, so maybe i can pop by for the free shows.

I havent written for so long, and blogging does not count so i’m not sure how i will get back into the momentum of essay writing in UNI. Shizzz i hope its just comes back to me, or else il be pretty screwed. Nevertheless, i am getting pretty excited about school My stationeries perk me up.

Thank god for Facebook, i’m really afraid i might forget some of my friends’ birthdays when im over there! I def won’t forget yours though drea!! AND I will call ya, even though you’ll be having too much fun in partyland, Ibiza (Babe i will miss u so sososososos much) I will send ya my aust address before you leave. Handwritten snail mails plus skype plus msn plus emails plus smses please!!!!!!

Next week is my last week here, wow and stupid drew says next week will just pass amazingly fast. Argh

Laugh and be merry

Tonight was perfect. The weather, the company, the gossip and the laughter was priceless Thank you girls. I will really miss our meetups when i’m in melb. Nevertheless, i aint that far away, and i’ll be back pretty often.

To those who are starting uni in jul/aug, all the best! It will be a new but very awesome adventure ahead.

11 days. I get butterflies in my stomach thinking about the very sad airport departure. I want it to be quick and painless. Maybe I can distract myself at Dutyfree.

 

Burn your sesame balls

Mustafa with sfee and the two Gippsland boys was very fruitful today. Managed to buy most of the things I need. YAYS! But somehow i still feel like a few things are missing (more clothes and shoes perhaps?)

The farking Mng sale is starting today, right after i bought quite a few items. As i was telling grace, i seriously have no luck with these sales events. Nevertheless, i shall go down again to take a look. hah.

I’ve set up the webcam for my folks, and its really NOT BAD for 22 bucks, quite clear and pretty sleek. So now all i gotta do is get my mac and set up my skype acct, so that they can see me from time to time

I’ll post my skype username when i get one, and let me know yours.

 

P.Cech is a loser

Did a bit of shopping today. Bought a pretty Nine West bag and some cardigans. Mustafa tmr with Sfee to buy our toiletries among many other stuff which il end up buying. The Black Mac is coming to mama by the end of this week, hopefully.

The stooooopid klutzy me decided to let her hair drip all over her room after a bath and then slip and fell like some elephant on the pool of water. Now my left knee is laden with this huge red bruise and it hurts like hell. Damn it.

Serves me right, my mummy says.

I’m trying to make some sense of the banking booklet which Sfee gave to me. But everything is pretty much gibberish, so i’ll just wait for the bank dude to explain it to me.

By a stroke of co-incidence (and good taste), grace and i bought the same file notebooks, in the exact same colour. Bubblegum pink! And we werent even shopping together. Haha its okay, i think we’re the only 2 dumbos who would pay so much for a notebook so hopefully there wont be any others carrying it around school. Drea bought the lime green one to document her 4 month Euro Getaway.

Time’s running out, and still no packing done! In EXACTLY 2 weeks time, I’ll be on QF 10 headed 7 hours away from Singapore.

 

Finally

Everything is settled. Maybe my insomniac nights would cease since the mind can finally relax when nightfalls.

Our place is pretty! (crosses fingers) and in a really good location. I just handed in our connection for utilities, so i guess everything is mostly in the bag now. Except for settling the internet and phone connection when i’m over there. Maybe i do have time to pop over to Sydney for a few days to see the family! haha.

Stationary and most toiletries have been bought. I’m left with some clothes, shoes and light paperback books to purchase.

It’s just 14 days left for me. I’m having a family dinner this weekend, hopefully everyone can make it, cos it’ll be a very long while, before i can see them again.

Sometimes i don’t really understand the decisions i make. But i’m pretty sure melb was one of the right ones
